Organizational structure:

The organization of SPOONK Foundation is structured according to the board – executive model.
The tasks and powers of the board and executive, and the relationship between them, can also be found in the articles of association, can also be found in the
articles of association and the board-executive regulations. These regulations are drawn up based on the Articles of Association of the SPOONK foundation, taking into account the Principles and Best Practice points of the governance code for the arts and culture sector. In addition to this code, SPOONK also subscribes to the Fair Practice Code and the Diversity and Inclusion Code.

 

Remuneration policy:
The board members do not receive remuneration for policy-making activities. 

Reimbursement
certain expenses, such as travel expenses, may be possible in certain cases.
The board ensures that in the event of dissolution, the remaining assets will be allocated to an ANBI with a similar purpose. 
There is currently a fixed position for the artistic leader with approx. minimum wage. Specific tasks, outsourced work by third parties are paid per invoice. Often on a self-employed basis.
Volunteers and interns:
Many projects of SPOONK are realized with the help of volunteers and interns. They are essential for realizing our program. Volunteer allowances are pursued.

Statutory Objective.
The foundation aims:
To present, stimulate, and initiate innovative experimental visual arts and theatre at national and international level and to make this known to a wide audience. It aims to be sensitive to signals and to pioneer.
The foundation intends to achieve this objective by.
1. Organizing, programming exhibitions, presentations, projects in its own space, at other locations, and in public spaces. With attention given to knowledge transfer such as guest lectures, lectures, symposia, workshops, and other public activities.
2. Offering an interdisciplinary platform for young and more established artists/theatre makers and creating opportunities for them to further develop and showcase their skills and talents.
3. Forming the necessary collaborations in organizational, artistic, and content-related areas.

SPOONK is in the process of obtaining the cultural ANBI status. Donations are not yet deductible from taxes. Once we obtain the ANBI status, individuals may deduct 1.25 times the amount of the gift in their income tax return.
Corporate entities subject to corporate income tax may then deduct 1.5 times the amount.

2. Offering an interdisciplinary stage for young and more established artists/theater makers and creating opportunities to further develop and showcase their skills and talents.
3.Establishing the necessary collaborations in organizational, artistic, and substantive areas.

SPOONK is in the process of obtaining cultural Public Benefit Organization (PBO) status. Donations are currently not deductible from taxes. Once we obtain PBO status, individuals can deduct 1.25 x the amount of the gift from their income tax return.
Companies subject to corporate income tax can deduct 1.5 x the amount.
